Great location and stay

Great location across the road from the beach and not far from the waterfall. Need maintenance work with the garden, cobwebs around the timber under the patio area, and the door were a bit heavy to open and close. There waas a musky smell in the single bed room.

Very peaceful location and clean place! Even though the house looked old on the outside, it was fully updated on the inside! Upper bedroom had great views of the ocean and lower bedrooms had farm view. Location is close to Apollo Bay and all the good restaurants there!

Everything is perfect, we arrived a little bit late and everything is well prepared, clean and warm. The view is sooo good.

We loved our stay here- went home after 2 nights feeling like we’d been away a week. Very peaceful, a short walk just across the road to lovely beach and 15m drive in either direction to either Apollo Bay or Wye River, so location was perfect. We loved the views and the upstairs bath the most!

I couldn’t recommend enough Sam and her beautiful cottage! We had the most wonderful stay!
The cottage is so well equipped, the upstairs bedroom with bathtub is simply fantastic.
The view is great and so peaceful, just across the street you have access to the beach.
Sam has always been very quick to respond and very clear with instructions.
I was sad we only booked for one night, I would’ve happily stayed much longer!

Sam's house is located on one of the famous roads of the world (Great Ocean Rd). The house has front views of ocean and backyard opens to a farm with animals. Its a very peaceful place and not too far from Lorne and 12 apostles. I would highly recommend this place.

We had family come in from overseas and it was their first time visiting the Great Ocean Road.

Sam was super helpful and a very great host. The place was amazing and I have no words for the view. I would definitely come back again and also recommend to my family and friends

This is one of the most affordable places along the Great Ocean Road with a stunning view of the beach and a breathtaking view of the farm highlands behind. Everything was excellent, except the heaters at the property, which did not do a great job. However, there's an option of a wood burner inside the house, which we did not use though (10AUD for wood charged separately). Host were responsive to all the questions we had when we arrived at the property. The place was clean and had a modern kitchen.

Seacroft Beach House is in a very good location, right off Great Ocean Road, easy to find, yet still secluded and private. Beach access is right across the house, and from the house, we have a good view of the ocean from the living area and the bedroom upstairs. The house is meticulously maintained, good quality linen and crockery, which makes you feel welcomed and valued.Thanks, Sam, for offering your lovely house.

We had a great night at Sam's, warm and cosy on a Winter night.

A clean space, very cosy (it's smaller than it looks in the pictures).
FYI upstairs bedroom and bathroom is accessed via stairs outside. Upstairs toilet has no door so to give someone privacy, the other guest can head out onto the balcony or outside and downstairs to the living room/kitchen space.
Cute cows that you can see from the back. Power lines also though.
Grateful for the hosts who let us leave our cars in the driveway post checkout, until after the roads reopened after the marathon.
We stayed during the Great Ocean Road Running Festival weekend so you do pay a premium because of demand in the area!

Sam’s place in Sugarloaf was a beautiful stay in a nice secluded location. It was very relaxing to have a hot bath, sit in front of the fireplace and then sleep hearing the waves on the beach through the night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks Sam!

The place was nice, exactly like the photos! We had a pleasant stay!
The mattresses were a little soft for my taste, but the ocean sound makes it up for a great night of sleep!
The location is good, peaceful and a short drive to Apollo bay if you need groceries or petrol! Would definitely stay again!

Sam's place was what we expected.
unfortunately l booked the incorrect date.
l did realise a few seconds after l had pressed the wrong date. Sam refused to return my call and would not allow me to change the date, pointing out to me that there is a no change policy. this is wrong and doesn't allow for simple human error. Air BnB is not a good portal to book on , because of the no change policies in small print.
l had booked Sam's place for my married children as a gift, unfortunately they could not use Sam's place on the incorrect date l booked so l came down and used one bedroom only to use some of the money l was going to just kiss goodbye.
next time l book a bed and breakfast house l will be going direct to the owners. l will not be using air bnb.

An absolutely magical experience! We loved the friendly, local birds that visited every day. The yaks were friendly too. Stunning views of the beach from upstairs. I had coffee and brekky in bed upstairs, watching the azure coloured ocean and nothing can top that as I recover from cancer treatment. The bath and showers were deluxe. The beds super comfy. We’ll definitely be back.

We only stayed for one night, but this place is well worth staying for longer, we had wished we could have! How lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and to be able to wake up and take a walk along the beach.... i was looking forward to see the stars, but unfortunately it was overcast... thanks for a great stay! next time for longer I hope!

This was my first time booking an airbnb and I don’t regret it one bit. The host gave clear instructions in the chat and had instructions inside the house as well so it wasn’t so difficult for us to navigate through the house. It looked even better than in the photos. Everything was just so nice and if ever I want to bring my family to great ocean road, I will be choosing the same spot again. No regrets.

Sam’s place is exactly the experience we wanted our first time visitors from the USA to showcase as some of the best Victoria has to offer.
After a freezing visit to the 12 Apostles, We got the fireplace going and shared our views about all things important - over a bottle of red!
The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfy as.
Got a special close-up look at the visitors (cows) in the morning.

This was a great getaway with beautiful views to the ocean and back up the hills. Perfect for a family get-together. Main bedroom upstairs was a gem and downstairs perfect for the adult kids. After a walk along the beach and up to the falls, a night by the woodheater was a treat.

Sam place location is superb as in quiet very close to the nature. The beach across the road is the gem and i love the backyard the farm is too peaceful . The bed is soft and warm nice to sleep but the third bedroom upstairs is the highlight of the house. Sam is very responsive in all my queries . Beautiful place to stay I can recommend to anyone.

Perfect location for a cosy mid week stay. Loved the wood fire, wish we had time to be able to use the outdoor areas. Stunning views and perfect area for a peaceful time. Beds are definitely on the very soft side, a little too soft for us but some people may love!

This was a quaint little place on Great Ocean Road, that was comfortable. Just be aware if you are a family of 6, the parents’ room is upstairs with separate access from the rest of the house.

A lovely private getaway in the heart of raw natural beauty. The house is well provisioned and comfy. The master bedroom is sensational. Waking up bathed in sunlight to the sights and sounds of waves hitting the coastline was incredibly peaceful. None of us wanted to leave.

excellent farm stay experience in Great Ocean Road. Our family was super impressed by how clean was the house and how well it was maintained. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back again if we have other family/friend coming. Love the backyard that looking at the farm and we enjoyed BBQ at night outside. The daytime view is also magnificant. You will definitely feel calm and peaceful in your stay here.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und schon nach Ankunft bereut, nur für eine Nacht gebucht zu haben. Die Lage ist einfach zauberhaft, vorne das Meer und hinten die Hügel. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen und selbst auch wieder kommen. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, freundlich und schnell.

Lovely peaceful stop on a trip down the Great Ocean Road with a friend from Scotland. Close to Apollo Bay but feels like it is miles away, so quiet and the view from the upstairs balcony was stunning.

Nice place with lovely views, upstairs bedroom is wonderful with a huge bathtub! Lots of outdoor space with great views from the decking. Only downsides were no hairdryer or toiletries (which they do mention however would be a helpful touch).

Sam's place is a real gem. With beach view at the front and the valley view behind, you cant ask for more. The upstairs room and bathroom was really nice.

Seacroft Beach House is in a beautiful setting between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Pristine area without all the tourism noise. The Beach House itself is superbly set up with two bedrooms on the main floor and a separate suite on the second level. That second level is the highlight -- with views to the sea and close enough to hear the waves crashing. The beach is directly across the street and perfect for a quiet morning or evening walk.

The house is in a very nice location, a beautiful place, nice and comfortable. we spent one night continuing our route on the great ocean road trip, the only aspect that we noticed that can improve is having a sponge to wash the dishes and long glasses, the rest of the house is fully equipped to enjoy 😉

Our stay was very comfortable, the place is just stunningly beautiful, with a farm towards the backyard and the ocean view at the front. The room at the top is beautiful, we saw an amazing sunrise in the morning. The deck at the top is perfect for sitting and sinking the natural beauty. Amenities were all good. The house is very cute and cozy and had everything essential which is needed. Highly recommend if one wants to enjoy the beauty of great ocean road.
