We had a beautiful stay at Seacroft. Everything was as described, with everything we needed for a 2 night stay with our toddler. Especially loved visiting the very friendly cows. Hope to come back again some day.

Beautiful, calm and exhilarating.
We stayed in the studio for a couple of nights. It is a beautiful studio, with a king size bed, large bathroom and decent kitchen.
The view from the kitchen and the deck is exhilarating. We felt so peaceful waking up to this view everyday.
We fell in love with their two Scottish Highland calfs, Finn and storm. they are the cutest. There are also alpacas, who are very cute but shy. We were luck to spot a whale during are stay at the estate. We could see it close to the beach, right in front of the estate. We also saw a koala walking down the road in front of the estate.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would love to come back someday.

Sam and Barry were great hosts who went above and beyond to welcome us and encouraged us to explore the beautiful property. The studio is clean, warm, and the king bed was a real treat! The kitchen is well equipped and feels brand new, Sam and Barry can easily help you get anything else you might need. There isn't really a living room area so much as there is a therapist chair in the kitchen. But the 2 sets of outdoor furniture are lovely.

This place was perfect for our short stay and I would recommend this to anyone going down the coast.

We booked with Sam for my son and his partner who are visiting from the US. They loved the accommodation and the location was beautiful.

The Seacroft Studio is one of those very special places where you can relax, feel at home and spend time doing what you love. Some highlights included the filtered water (super delicious!), the heater being on when we arrived late one winter afternoon, the comfortable king size bed and the roar of the ocean not far away. I highly recommend this place, and will certainly be back myself.

It was such a nice touch to arrive to a warm room - I was arriving a little later and Sam so kindly had the heating on so that was lovely.

The bathtub was great and small kitchen had what I needed for the short stay.

This was my second time at Seacroft and I will be back again!

This is one of the best airbnb's I have stayed at. It is nestled along the best piece of scenery along the Great Ocean Road; stunning mountains behind you, violent antarctic waves crashing in front of you. The studio is a modern upgrade on a historic church, with a unique combination of antique and high-tech sculptural furniture (see Mirror with light). A smart well-designed kitchen and the best balcony view you are ever likely to experience.

Sam’s place has very nice deco and an amazing view! I loved waking up with the ocean changing its look under different weather 🙂 The house is clean and quiet and great for a lil get away holiday!

Gorgeous spot for a couples getaway

Seacroft Estate was the first place I've stayed at on the Great Ocean Road that brought tears to my eyes to leave. The view of the studio deck is unbelievably beautiful, and for a place so close to the main road it's very peaceful there. The hosts are friendly, and the location is so close to the beach, too. We had a moment of confusion upon arrival - we had opted not to stop in at Lorne for a coffee, both tired from the drive, since the listing mentioned the studio having one. We were disappointed to find that there wasn't one in the room, but a communal paid coffee machine on site. We didn't mind paying the $2 per cup though, and it was quite good coffee!

I had a three night mid week break from the city in the Seacroft studio. It was very clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities, although there was no coffee plunger.
The bed was large and very comfortable as well. There is a great view of the ocean up and down the coastline from the private deck out front. Perfect for an apero in the evening.
Ideal for 1 or 2 people for a short stay.

We enjoyed staying at Sam’s place. Location is excellent. The house is very clean and had all required amenities as mentioned.

Lovely bedroom and sea view. Just don’t expect 100% privacy when using the private deck as we had other guests walking in front of that space a few times during our stay. Otherwise, it’s been a nice experience.

A sensational one night stay on the beautiful Great Ocean Road. Sam's place was very easy to stay at, check-in was a breeze, all the conveniences and the little extra touches that made the stay perfect. The greeting from the Llamas on the driveway made our day. So easy to check-in, the view sitting on the balcony at sunset was incredible and to top it off had the best sleep of my life in the most comfortable king-sized bed! Such a wonderful slice of paradise, we are so lucky to have found ourselves there.

Truly amazing location. Direct sea views, beach round the corner, alpacas in the field over and a lovely little private suite with nice touches like a wine fridge and lovely bath. I highly recommend staying here and would go again.

We had a wonderful short stay here. The ocean view from the kitchen is beautiful and it was soothing to hear the waves while drifting off to sleep. The space is nice and cosy, with a beautifully soft bed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

What a beautiful little part of the world Sugarloaf is! And the Chapel Studio is just gorgeous. So nice for a little RnR! Everything you need is right there for you. Just don’t forget to bring some milk for the great coffee pod machine. Which I loved! Thanks Sam

Beautiful spot, best view of the water from the kitchen area. Bed was amazing. Super warm and toasty in the accommodation too. Would definitely stay again. Worth noting I stayed on my own- there was a chaise to curl up on to read my book but if I stayed with my partner there isn’t really anywhere for them to sit apart from the dining table. In summer this would be remedied by sitting out on the amazing veranda though.

Beautiful little hidden Gem nestled near the ocean, atop a small hill with splendid views of the waves crashing down on the beach, right from the room window. Highly recommend this for anyone after great views and serenity.

We had a fabulous stay at Sam’s place. The place is small but super cute and just what we were after for a cosy weekend away. The view is wonderful and close to heaps of wonderful sights. Check-in was super easy. And wow that king size bed! Would stay again.

Cute accommodation and great view. Walk to the beach just across the road. Heating is excellent. Just know that there are multiple accommodation options onsite, so your morning sleep-in will depend on other guests. Also, BYO milk and sugar for tea/ coffee.

Highly recommend staying at the Seacroft Studio! It is located directly on the Great Ocean Road and close to Apollo Bay and everything the GOR has to offer. The studio was perfect for a couple and has great facilities to cook meals and lounge around in. The views from the property were amazing and definitely the main reason to stay! The hosts were super accommodating and lovely to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

This place was awesome. We used it as a pitstop traveling the Great Ocean Road. We stayed in one of the front rooms. It looks straight out onto the ocean. It was killer sitting out in the morning with coffee in hand watching the sun come up. Wish I could have stayed another day.

Sams place is exactly as described and seen in the photos. You couldn’t ask for anything more. You can see the ocean from your bed, sit outside on the deck and watch the sun go down and even walk to what seems to be you own private section of the Great Ocean Road.
The kitchen is well equipped.
The bed is like sleeping on cloud nine.
And the bathroom is modern.
Loved my stop over stay, couldn’t recommend it more.

Sams place is beautiful situated for those wanting to get away from the hurly burly of the beach towns and really soak up the environment- beautiful mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The view from the deck is enough to keep you there much of the day. The studio has a most wonderful king sized bed and a very welcome bath- just the thing after a long walk on the beach

Wonderful stay, view is outstanding nothing to complain about

Sam’s place is absolutely stunning. Dating back to the 1880’s it’s a lovely mix of antique furniture and beautiful modern amenities. The kitchen looks brand new and has everything you could need. The king bed has a canopy style mosquito net which makes you feel like you’re in a romance novel and the bed itself is probably the most comfortable and decadent I have ever slept in. All the bedding is super high quality and so luxurious. The bathroom is also sleek and brand new and complete with modern touches. And of course, the view. My partner and I just sat on the deck and watched the ocean for a good few hours when we arrived. You can hear the gentle crash of the waves even with the doors closed and the deck furniture is wonderfully comfortable. Cannot recommend Sam’s place highly enough. Only things I would note is that there is no living room per se, just a couch in the kitchen but between the bed and the deck and kitchen furniture you really don’t need one.

Amazing accommodation, and such an amazing view to wake up to. The place was super clean, definitely a lovely place to stay.

What a superb stay, so much so that we wished we had booked a second night. The cottage was wonderful: equal parts cosy, comfy, pretty and tidy. As for the view, WELL...let’s just say ‘breathtaking’ doesn’t seem to do it justice. Seldom have I stayed at places with such exquisite azure views! Hearing the ocean at night was a particular delight, too. Finally, the cows in the adjoining paddock were adorable. Can’t wait to return for another restorative getaway!

The view is a million times more amazing in person than the photos! Hours were spent just looking at an incredible sunset with a bottle of wine. It was perfect and we'll definitely be visiting again!

The location of this Air B&B is stunning. There is such a positive ambience that surrounds this place and I would highly recommend for those wanting to stay in a calm and peaceful environment. Just be mindful that the nearest shops are sort of 20 minutes away so you need to be organised / or prepared with what you need. Don’t expect that there is much in walking distance — but that’s one of the highlights of this place!

If you are looking for a coastal getaway that allows you to switch off from the world and enjoy stunning views, this is the place. The bed is also incredible, I didn’t want to leave it. The beach is a cow paddock away and Apollo Bay is a short drive away. Support local businesses and stay here

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend away to unwind. We loved the view and the cows, the bed was super comfy and the bath was amazing after a long day of exploring! It’s a bit of a drive from town but if you don’t mind driving then it’s not a problem at all. Would definitely recommend to others!

Lovely location for a relaxing time away and to breathe in some sea air. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable and had all the basics for a short stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the water (and the cows in the field).

If you want a quiet, relaxed spot, this is it. Comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and an utterly amazing view. Morning on the deck, watching the sunrise paint everything gold and listening to the surf, such a great way to start your day. Good spot for day trips up and down the coast, highly recommend it.

A lovely quaint & quiet location by the ocean. The place was clean & the bed was really comfortable! The heating was great for a cold winters weekend away. Approx 20 mins from Apollo Bay where there is a local supermarket, pub & other cafes & stores to browse around.
